titleOfInvention METHOD FOR PURIFICATION OF RADIOACTIVE WATER FROM STRONTIUM-90 AND CESIUM-137 ISOTOPES
abstract The method of purification of water from radioisotopes of cesium and strontium to ensure high multiplicity of activity reduction at low doses of components is solved by interaction of potassium ferrocyanide with polyelectrolytes, functional groups of which are primary, secondary, tertiary amino groups and quaternary ammonium groups. Complex compounds are formed in the solution. When potassium ferrocyanide K [Fe (CN)] interacts with polyelectrolytes, even in highly dissolved solutions (concentration of components 1-30 mg / l) insoluble complexes are formed, which effectively bind cesium and strontium isotopes at the time of formation. The complexes are easily removed from the water by ultrafiltration of the solution, foam - or electrofiltration.
