| abstract | The method of surgical treatment of diffuse purulent peritonitis in children includes laparotomy, evacuation of purulent contents, abdominal lavage with antiseptic solution, administration of novocaine to the mesentery, elimination of the source of peritonitis, decompression of the stomach and intestines, antifouling converging sutures to the laparotomy wound with leaving the diastase of the wound edges and re-rehabilitation of the abdominal cavity under intubation anesthesia until the inflammatory process subsides and subsequent layer-by-layer suturing of the abdominal wall. The converging sutures on the laparotomy wound are applied through the entire thickness of the abdominal wall, except for the peritoneum, on a napkin set and leave a microirrigator connected to the drip to irrigate the loops of the intestine with saline. Hyperbaric oxygenation sessions are performed between re-treatments. |
