titleOfInvention Method for treatment of blast-furnace coke
abstract A method for treatment of blast-furnace coke is carried out by applying of borates on blast-furnace coke pieces. After unloading from a coke furnace, slaking and sorting the blast-furnace coke pieces having temperature of 20-50 DEGREE C are treated by pulverizing of 2-20 % borate aqueous solution, selected of sodium tetraborate, potassium tetraborate, calcium tetraborate. Thus the solution volume for treatment is such volume at which the amount of dry borate in a coke is of 0.05-0.50 % (wt.) in the count on a coke.
