titleOfInvention Hirudotherapy method in narcology
abstract The hirudotherapy method in narcology comprises the application of the leeches to the body of the patient. Beforehand, the local mechanical (manual), surface pharmacological (ethanolic), and physical (thermal) stimulation of skin microcirculation is performed. In addition, 1% solution of the nicotinic acid is injected intravenously in the volume of 1-2 ml. Upon the pronounced skin hyperemia, the leeches are applied according to the corresponding regimen depending on the state of the patient.
