| abstract | A method of diagnosing platelet resistance to antiplatelet drugs in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) includes electron microscopic examination of blood. In patients with coronary heart disease and concomitant type 2 diabetes on an empty stomach take 9 ml of blood from the ulnar vein. Contrast sections with blood cell samples are prepared. Conduct ultrastructural examination of platelets using an electron microscope. When platelets with increased adhesion, degenerative changes and signs of apoptosis are detected, platelet resistance to aspirin and other antiplatelet drugs is diagnosed. |
