titleOfInvention | METHOD OF TREATMENT OF DIABETIC RETINOPATHY BY PREPARATIONS FROM MATERIAL OF EMBRIOPHETAL ORIGIN AND SEPARATED FROM ITS CELLS |
abstract | A method of treating diabetic retinopathy, comprising the preparation and administration of a preparation from a material of embryo-fetal origin and cells isolated from it in suspension. At least three preparations of embryo-fetal origin and its isolated cells are prepared and administered in the form of thawed suspensions of stem cells after cryopreservation, each containing a therapeutically effective amount of stem cells isolated from human fetal material 7-9 weeks. One suspension contains fetal liver stem cells and the second suspension contains fetal brain stem cells, the third suspension contains fetal mesenchymal stem cell precursor cells. A suspension of cryopreserved stem cells from fetal liver is administered intravenously in a volume of not less than 0.1 ml with the number of nucleated cells of not less than 1.81 × 106 in 1 ml per injection. A suspension of cryopreserved stem cells of the fetal brain of a human fetus is administered subcutaneously in a volume of not less than 0.5 ml with a cell number of not less than 1.32 × 106 in 1 ml per administration. A suspension of cryopreserved precursor cells of fetal mesenchymal stem cells is administered retrobulbar in a volume of not less than 0.1 ml with a cell count of at least 1.01 × 106 in 1 ml per administration. These suspensions of stem cells are administered simultaneously with standard therapy, and before the introduction of a suspension of cryopreserved stem cells from fetal liver additionally perform premedication. |
