abstract The invention relates to the technology of inorganic substances. The method of obtaining dispersed cobalt ferrite from stock solutions of 0.5M ferrous sulfate (II) and cobalt sulfate (II), taken in a stoichiometric ratio, as in ferrite, co-precipitation of a mixture with 1M alkali solution. The ferritation process is carried out by treating a suspension of polyhydroxocomplexes obtained by pH = 11.5-12.0 by precipitation, incandescent discharge in a plasma chemical reactor for 5-10 minutes at a temperature of 30-40 IC, at a cathode current density in the range of 150-200 A / dm2 . The method provides a high degree of ferritization, high magnet characteristics of the dispersed cobalt ferrite and eliminates the use of oxidizing reagent.
