titleOfInvention METHOD OF DETERMINATION OF THYROSTATICS (PROPYLTIURACYL, METHYLTIURACYL) IN THE URINE AND COPPER WITH THE aid of an ION-trap mass spectrometer
abstract A method for determining the residual thyroidostatic amounts in urine and copper is to study 1 g (± 0.05 g) for honey or 1 cm3 (± 0.05 cm3) for the urine of the prepared sample. The sample was extracted with ethyl acetate with the addition of EDTA and 2-mercaptoethanol. Add anhydrous sodium sulfate, put an ultrasonic bath, centrifuged. The supernatant extract was evaporated under a stream of nitrogen to dryness. Derivatized with a buffer solution of ammonium acetate and 3-iodbenzyl bromide. Methanol is added and the solution is transferred to a vial for analysis, followed by a VARIAN 500-MS ion trap liquid spectrometer with a Pro Star liquid block.
