| abstract |
The application describes an optimized pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of inflammatory changes in the esophagus. Such pharmaceutical composition of the dispersible effervescent tablet is stable, easy to manufacture and is used without the need for its dissolution in the liquid. An additional wash that would reduce the residence time of the budesonide solution in the affected affected esophagus is unnecessary. The use of the effervescent tablet of the invention led to unexpectedly high hematologic remission in patients with active eosinophilic esophagitis. |
