titleOfInvention METHODS OF HAIR AND SKIN RESTORATION
abstract Compositions, kits and methods for bonding, such as disulfide bonds, in hair or skin are described. These compositions provide an improved effect of conditioning dry hair or moisturizing the skin. These compositions also provide a long-lasting sense of moisture and a smoothness of the skin or hair, without feeling greasy. These compositions contain one or more compounds that covalently bind at least two thiol groups in the hair or on the skin. The use of binder compositions prevents the restoration of the restored bonds to the state of free thiols for at least one week or one month or longer after a single application of the composition. Improved ways of styling hair, such as permanent hair curling into large curls, curling hair into small curls, hair dyeing or brightening, and hair straightening, are also offered.
