| abstract | Method for early etiological diagnosis of serous meningitis (SM) in children by examination of cerebrospinal fluid and calculation of diagnostic indicator. Conduct a comprehensive clinical and laboratory examination, taking into account clinical and anamnestic data, epidemiological history. At the same time take into account clinical and anamnestic indicators, including indicators of sex, age, presence of frequent acute respiratory infections (GRI), infectious mononucleosis, chronic tonsillitis, vesicular rash on the skin and mucous membranes in the anamnesis; bathing in the reservoir and contact with the patient with CM on the eve of the disease; manifestation of clinical manifestations (days of disease); fever, vomiting, headache, seizures, intestinal dysfunction, severity of meningeal symptoms, and difficulty in hospital admission; leukocyte (cytosis, lymphocyte / neutrophil ratio, protein, glucose, chloride) and hematological (hemoglobin, leukocyte, neutrophil, lymphocyte, monocyte, ESR). Determine differential diagnostic coefficients (DC) and diagnostic information (I) separately for clinical indicators, cerebrospinal fluid and clinical blood count.
