| abstract | Methods for reducing steady-state emissions for use with a dry scrubber desulphurization system. The dry powder of calcium hydroxide is introduced into the gas path and moistened in a spray absorber. The resulting sludge is then deposited on the filter sleeves in the dust collector. This can be done at lower temperatures than the temperatures at which the spray absorber could operate in a different mode. The boiler operation can also be restored, compensated, adjusted or enhanced depending on different operating scenarios. |
