The invention relates to medicine and the chemical-pharmaceutical industry, in particular to the creation, production and use of a tool that is analogous to chondroitin sulfate obtained from shark cartilage, which, with a very small amount of 4-sulfate, shows a high level of charge density and biological activity that can compare with natural chondroitin sulfates; the invention also relates to a method for producing said chondroitin sulfate analogue obtained from shark cartilage. The biological activity and anti-inflammatory properties demonstrated by the proposed in vitro cholesterol make it comparable to natural preparations and, therefore, potentially acceptable for use as pharmaceuticals in pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals. |
