titleOfInvention METHOD OF SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF SULPHIDE IN SOLUTIONS
abstract The invention relates to the field of analytical chemistry. A method of spectrophotometric determination of sulfide in solutions involves the treatment of the sample with an oxidant, the addition of an acid solution of the reagent, followed by photometry of the reaction product. A 0.1 mol / dm solution of N, N-diethylaniline in a 4.8 mol / dmvd solution of sulfuric acid in the presence of 0.01 mol / dmkali bromide is used as the reagent. As the oxidant used 3.5 ∙ 10 mol / dmz solution of potassium bromate in 1.5 mol / dmvdov solution of sulfuric acid. The optical density is recorded at 226 nm. EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the element determination time by 3 times in comparison with the closest analogue, to increase by 2.5 times the range of the calibration graph with sufficient limit of detection of sulfide in water, in particular in the water of sulfide treatment baths.
