abstract The invention relates to imidazole derivatives, their use in medicine, compositions containing them, methods for their preparation and intermediates used in such methods. More particularly, the invention relates to novel imidazole modulators of Nav1.8 of formula (I): EMBED ISISServer (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are as defined in the description. Nav1.8 modulators are promising in the treatment of a wide range of disorders, including pain.
