abstract A method for histologic identification of pancreatic islets involves modifying the coloration of aniline blue-orange G, which involves staining histological sections with a solution of the following composition: orange G + aniline blue + 100 ml of distilled water. Pre-histological sections were stained with aniline-acid fuchsin mixture for 8 minutes (5% aniline aqueous solution - 10 ml + acid fuchsin, shaken and filtered through a wide porous filter).
