titleOfInvention METHOD OF OBTAINING METHYL ESTERS FROM SAWROL OIL
abstract A method of obtaining methyl esters from sauryl oil involves filtration processes with separation of associated impurities, neutralization of free fatty acids, washing of the oil with saline and water, impurity purification and transesterification. Sauryl oil with free fatty acids content of 5-20 mg KOH / g is used. The neutralization is carried out by carrying out the esterification reaction with concentrated sulfuric acid - 1.5% by weight, for 2 hours. at a temperature of 60-65 ° C with constant stirring with the separation of water and alcohol. Methanol and sulfuric acid are taken in a 6: 1 molar ratio and sent for transesterification with the addition of methanol and a KOH catalyst.
