titleOfInvention High-efficiency keratophototherapy apparatus using purple blue cross-linking
abstract This invention provides a high efficient corneal therapy system using UV and blue light collagen cross-link. The said UV-blue therapy system consists of a control panel, a power supply, and a light source. The output light of the said light source is delivered to the treated cornea via an optical set and having a spot size of 7 to 15 mm. The said light source can be a LED or a diode laser having a wavelength range of 340 to 480 nm, power of 3 mW to 500 mW. The said UV-blue therapy system can also consists of multiple channels. It can also consists of a fixation post set consisting of a pair of posts, or a standing-light soft-post, or an M-shape post. The output light can be a single wavelength (340-480 nm) or a dual wavelength combining (340-380) nm and (381-480) nm. The said UV-blue therapy system may be used for keratoconus and also used to stabilize the cornea surface curvature after a laser vision correction.
