titleOfInvention Recovery high purity CuO powder from copper-containing sludge
abstract The apparatus of recovery high purity CuO powder from copper-containing sludge by acid and ammoniacal media leaching processes. It includes a dewatered sludge storage tank, a homogenization tank, an acidic and oxidation reactor, separator and press, an ammoniacal media leaching reactor, a copper basic carbonate reactor, a buffer tank, a liquid tank, a wash tank, a roaster of cupric oxide, and data-link recorder. The purpose of this device was to provide an efficient, simpler and economical method which could be utilized to recover copper resource and removed oil residue from copper-containing sludge by leaching and purity processes. This has three potential advantages: (1) Recovery high purity and high worthy of cupric oxide fine powder, and remove oil residue from the sludge. (2) A considerable recovery and reduction in the quantity of residual to be disposed of as a result of the recovery of ammonium hydroxide and reuse the leachate from solution of cupric oxide in the wastewater treatment. (3) The leaching procedure will help reduce the environmental burden and enhance high economic benefit.
