abstract The present invention relates to a Cordyceps cicadae fruiting body extract, a method of producing the same, and its use for reducing intraocular pressure. The aforementioned method includes a fruiting body culturing step and an extraction step, in which the fruiting body culturing step includes a multi-stage culturing step, thereby obtaining fruit body by controlling conditions such as light/dark ncycle and air circulation. C. cicadae fruiting body extract extracted from the aforementioned fruiting body has the effect of reducing intraocular pressure.
