abstract The present invention relates to a use of peach resin extracts. Particularly, the present invention provides a use of peach resin extracts for promoting the secretion of collagen, decreasing degradation of collagen, and increasing water retention ability of the skin. The peach resin extracts according to the present invention can promote gene expression of TIMP1 and COL1A2, and inhibit gene expression of MMP1, MMP2 and MMP9 such as to increase collagen content. In addition, The peach resin extracts can also promote gene expression of TGM1, KRT1, AQP3, GBA and HAS3 so as to increase water retention ability of the skin.
