abstract The problem to be solved by the present invention is to use an aqueous urethane resin composition to produce a porous body having a longitudinally long cell. The present invention provides a method for producing a porous body, which is characterized in that: an aqueous urethane resin composition containing an aqueous urethane resin (A) having an acid value of 0.01 mgKOH/g or more is compared with For 100 parts by mass of the aforementioned water-based urethane resin (A), the content of oxyethylene group is 2×10 -2 mol/g or less in the range of 0.01 to 30 parts by mass and has a carboxyl group. After the viscosity is increased by the viscosity agent (B), it is solidified by the coagulant (C) containing the metal salt (c-1). According to the production method of the present invention, the aqueous urethane resin composition can be used to produce a porous body having longitudinally elongated air cells. Therefore, the resulting porous system is superior in touch, elasticity, peel strength, and moisture permeability compared to a single-cell porous body.
