Furthermore, the object of this invention is to provide the hardened|cured material which hardened this sealing compound for liquid crystal display elements.n n n The present invention is a sealing compound for liquid crystal display elements, which contains a curable resin, a polymerization initiator and/or a thermosetting agent, and the pencil hardness of the cured product according to JIS K 5600-5-4 is 3H or less.
