The present invention provides a medium additive, a medium composition and a culturing method, and the likes, which are capable of efficiently culturing cells or tissues with excellent dispersion, and capable of analyzing cell image of the cells or the tissues. n n The medium additive or medium composition of this invention contains an agar. The agar is preferably a low-molecular agar with a weight average molecular weight of 10,000 to 60,000. n n It is possible to efficiently culture cells or tissues with excellent dispersion and to improves multiplication effect of the cells or tissues by using the medium additive or medium composition of this invention contain. In addition, it is possible to carry out the culturing in any of a suspension state or a precipitation state by adjusting the concentration of the agar. |
