abstract The present invention provides a chlorine dioxide gas producing device capable of accurately controlling the generation amount of chlorine dioxide n n The present invention provides a chlorine dioxide gas producing device comprising an electrolyzing chamber, a liquid-surface level detecting chamber and a bubbling-gas supplying device. Each of the electrolyzing chamber and the liquid-surface level detecting chamber contains an electrolyte and gas, wherein, the electrolyte comprises chlorite aqueous solution. The electrolyzing chamber and the liquid-surface level detecting chamber are connected by a gas pipe over the liquid surface and connected by an electrolyte pipe under the liquid surface, so that the height of electrolyte in each chambers is substantially the same. The electrolyzing chamber comprises a cathode and an anode, wherein, the cathode and the anode are fixed at a spacer, and a bubbling-gas supplying part for supplying gas by bubbling from the outside of electrolyzing chamber to the electrolyte in the electrolyzing chamber is provided in the electrolyte in the electrolyzing chamber. The gas supplying part is connected with the bubbling-gas supplying device provided at the outside of the electrolyzing chamber via a pipe. The liquid-surface level detecting chamber comprises a means for detecting liquid-surface level.
