abstract | The invention provides a method for extracting and detecting volatile organic compounds, which includes providing at least one foamed ingot, providing an extraction and detection device, performing an extraction step, and performing a detection step. The foamed ingot is made by uniformly mixing an acidic compound and a basic compound. The extraction and detection device includes an extraction container, an injection tube, and a detection device. The extraction step is to place a liquid matrix into an extraction container, and add a foaming ingot to react to generate air bubbles. The detection step is to transfer the extracted volatile organic compounds from the injection tube to the detection device. Therefore, the present invention can generate bubbles through the reaction of the foamed ingot in the liquid matrix, transfer the volatile organic compounds from the liquid matrix to the detection device, and measure the volatile organic compounds in the liquid matrix. |
