abstract |
The invention provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising one or more metallic nano particles and a therapeutic agent. Each metal nanoparticle includes an inner core and a stabilizer covering the surface of the inner core. The therapeutic agent is combined with a stabilizer on the metal nanoparticle. The therapeutic agents are amphiphilic compounds, each therapeutic agent having at least one hydrophobic chain that interacts with the stabilizer. The pharmaceutical composition may further include a polymer shell encapsulating the metal nanoparticle and the therapeutic agent, and the polymer shell is used to control the release of the therapeutic agent. The pharmaceutical composition has dual functions and can be used to diagnose and treat cancer. The invention also provides a preparation method and application using the pharmaceutical composition. |
