abstract |
The present invention discloses a segmented tantalum carbide liner for use in a fluidized bed reactor for producing polycrystalline tantalum coated particulate materials, and a method of making and using such segmented tantalum carbide liners. The present invention also discloses non-contaminating joining materials for joining tantalum carbide fragments. One or more of the niobium carbide fragments may be constructed by reactive connection of niobium carbide. |
