abstract | A pattern forming method is a method in which a layer of a curable composition (A1) containing a polymerizable compound component (a1) is laminated on a surface of a substrate, and discretely added to the layer of the curable composition (A1). A droplet of the curable composition (A2) containing at least the component (a2) of the polymerizable compound and the component (b2) of the photopolymerization initiator is sandwiched between the mold having a pattern and the substrate. The mixed layer of the object (A1) and the hardenable composition (A2) is hardened by irradiating the mixed layer with light. After the hardened, the mixed layer is pulled away from the mold to form a pattern on the substrate. The Hansen distance Ra ((a1)-(A2)) between the component (a1) of the polymerizable compound of the curable composition (A1) and the curable composition (A2) is 6 or less. |
