abstract |
A device for generating a product term sum includes an array of variable resistance units, m input drivers, n row drivers, and a voltage sensing circuit. Each variable resistance cell in the array includes a transistor and a programmable resistor connected in parallel. The array includes n cell rows, and the n cell rows include series connected cell strings and m cell columns. The m input drivers are coupled to corresponding cell columns of the m cell columns, and the m input drivers selectively apply the input X m to the m cell columns. The n row drivers apply a current I n to corresponding cell rows among the n cell rows. The voltage sensing circuit is operatively coupled to the n cell rows. |
