abstract |
The present invention relates to a fuel additive composition comprising at least a first additive containing a partial ester derivative of a polyhydric alcohol and a second additive containing a fourth-order ammonium salt. The first additive contains at least 50% by mass of a compound A selected from a polyhydric alcohol and a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched, cyclic or acyclic C 4 to C 36 monocarboxylic aliphatic hydrocarbon Partial esters can be used alone or in mixtures. The invention also relates to a gas oil fuel containing such a composition, and the use of the fuel to limit fouling in a diesel engine.
