abstract The invention provides a low-polarity intrinsic flame retardant resin, and a preparation method and application thereof. The aforementioned low-polar intrinsic flame retardant resin has a structure shown in Formula I, which is prepared based on a phenolic compound or resin, and is subjected to a three-step reaction of allyl etherification, rearrangement, and capping of phosphorus-containing groups. Contains polar hydroxyl groups, and has a stable molecular structure, low polarity, and high reactivity. Polar hydroxyl groups will not be generated during application and processing, and the effects of secondary hydroxyl groups on its product properties are avoided. The resin also improves the dielectric properties, while still There are cross-linkable reactive groups, so that there is no significant change in the high temperature resistance after curing. The introduction of phosphorus-containing capping groups makes the resin inherently flame retardant. It can be used to reduce the coating when used in the preparation of metal-clad laminates. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss of metal foil laminates have high high temperature resistance and improve flame retardancy, so that metal foil laminates have good comprehensive properties and have broad application prospects.
