The present invention relates generally to methods and systems for synthesizing contrast agents and their precursors. These methods may exhibit improved yields and may allow large-scale synthesis of contrast agents, including those containing radioisotopes such as 18 F. Various embodiments of the present invention can be used as sensors, diagnostic tools, and the like. In some cases, methods are provided for assessing perfusion, including myocardial perfusion. The synthesis method of the present invention can also be incorporated into an automatic synthesis unit to prepare and purify contrast agents containing radioisotopes. In some embodiments, the present invention provides a novel method and system comprising contrast agent 1, including a method of imaging in an individual, the method comprising administering to an individual by injection, infusion, or any other known method The composition, and the area where the relevant event is located in the individual. |
