titleOfInvention | A sunscreen that is visually obscured by the whitening effect of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide applied to the skin. |
abstract | The present invention provides sunscreens that do not require the use of organic, ultraviolet absorbers. By increasing the amount of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide to achieve effective protection of the skin from ultraviolet light. To mask the over-white effect that these oxides would otherwise have, sunscreens include multi-layered capsules containing pigments. Prior to use, the pigments are encapsulated in capsules that mask the color of the pigment. When sunscreen is applied to the skin, the capsules burst and release pigments to counteract the over-white effect of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. Sunscreen precursors are also available, which can be produced from them by stirring. A sunscreen package containing a sunscreen precursor and a stirring ball. Provided is an ultraviolet protection method by shaking a sunscreen package and applying the sunscreen thus produced to the skin. |
