abstract |
The present invention relates to a coating composition comprising at least one styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer in an amount of at least 30% by weight based on the solid content of the coating composition; at least 30% by weight of a UV curable reactive diluent; 10 parts by weight of at least one photoinitiator; and at least one organic solvent, wherein the proportion of ethylenically unsaturated groups is at least 3 moles per kg of coating composition solids. The coated film, in particular the polycarbonate film, has improved properties in terms of scratch resistance, solvent resistance and reduction of shine, and is particularly suitable for producing plastic parts in a film insertion molding process. |
