abstract |
The composition includes a discontinuous oil phase uniformly dispersed in a continuous water phase. The oil phase contains a sunscreen agent including a polymer composition containing a linear, ultraviolet light-absorbing polyether. The linear, ultraviolet light-absorbing polyether includes a chemically-bonded UV chromophore; and an oil-in-water emulsifier component includes an anionic oil-in-water emulsifier in an amount such that the composition includes The anionic oil-in-water emulsifier ranges from about 0.5 percent by weight to about 3 percent by weight. |
