The invention discloses a cassette for use with a syringe, which has: a housing; and a cassette identification configuration (cassette ID), which defines a code containing information about the cassette, which can be identified by a Syringe detection and decoding. The cassette may further include: a sleeve movably disposed in the housing for holding a medicine container; and a locking configuration for interlocking the sleeve with the housing. The cassette may further have a hole in the casing and a cassette cap for removing a needle shield of the medicine container. The box may have a bending-resistant structure to prevent the box cap from bending or flexing. The syringe may have: a processor for controlling the operating parameters of the syringe; and a detector communicatively coupled to the processor for detecting the cassette ID and transmitting the cassette ID to The microprocessor decodes the code defined therein. Furthermore, the present invention discloses a method for injecting a drug into a patient by means of a syringe, wherein the sequence of actions performed by a user is controlled. Still further, the present invention discloses a method for treating a patient as needed, in which a cartridge containing a drug is provided and administered to the patient using a syringe. |
