abstract The invention discloses a pressure indicating device for detecting and isolating toxic and / or spontaneous combustible gas leaking from a multi-type package. The device may be attached to a user orifice of a cylindrical package. The device has a flexible disc-like structure that is finely tuned to flex outwards in response to the establishment of a gas pressure applied to the disc-like structure. The bent disc contacts a movable latch and pushes the latch outward from the device. The outward movement of the latch pierces a paper sealing member extending above the device, thereby indicating a leak in the packaged valve. The device withstands the pressure applied to it, thereby also isolating leakage of pressurized gas.
