abstract | A method is proposed which is effective for reducing CO 2 emissions, increasing space time yield (STY) and/or increasing cell density. The method permits the use of control to provide concentration levels of CO, CO 2 and H 2 in the syngas for fermentation, and utilizes the relative concentrations of CO, CO 2 and H 2 in the syngas provided for fermentation.
