abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a molded article in which a molded article having excellent shape retention and appearance is produced by using a sheet comprising a yarn of a thermoplastic resin fiber and a continuous reinforcing fiber. The solution to the problem is a method for producing a molded article, comprising the steps of irradiating a sheet of a film comprising a thermoplastic resin fiber and a continuous reinforcing fiber in a certain direction with respect to a laser beam, and at least a thermoplastic resin fiber. One portion is impregnated with continuous reinforcing fibers, and the irradiation of the laser light is performed in such a manner that at least one of the following A and B conditions is met in at least 70% of the laser light irradiation region; A: on the surface of the sheet Irradiation is performed at an angle of 5 to 85° with respect to the direction in which the yarn is arranged in the direction; B: irradiation is performed in a direction of an angle of 30 to 60° with respect to the vertical direction of the sheet surface. |
