abstract |
Provide a method to reduce the sodium content of different carriers, which can have different physical properties and different levels of sodium. The method for reducing the sodium content from the surface, subsurface and adhesive layer of the carrier includes contacting the carrier with water. Recover the rinse solution after contact. The rinse solution includes leached sodium from the carrier. Then determine the sodium content in the rinse solution. Repeat contact, recovery and determination until the sodium content reaches a steady state. |
