| abstract |
An exemplary microfluidic device includes a substrate having a first surface and a cap layer over the first surface. The cover layer and the first surface form a microfluidic channel and a chamber. The exemplary microfluidic device further includes a functional helium positioned above the chamber in the cap layer, and at least one flushing liquid helium positioned above the microfluidic channel in the cap layer. The flushing fluid is positioned above the portion of the microfluidic channel that is not proximate to the functional volume. |
