abstract A method of inspecting an object comprising providing an object comprising a target material. A laser beam is irradiated to a sample position of the object, and the laser beam has a wavelength λ. A focus of the focused laser beam is focused on the sample position of the object, and the molecular excitation of the target material is generated by simultaneously absorbing the incident photons of the n laser beams, where n is equal to or greater than two. A detector is used to analyze an output light emitted from the object, wherein the analyzed output light has a wavelength ranging from 0.8 λ to 1.2 λ.
