The present invention provides an optical film, a polarizing plate, a liquid crystal panel, and an image display device which can suppress the occurrence of interference fringes without observing a white turbidity and which can reduce the manufacturing cost.nn n n According to the same aspect of the present invention, there is provided an optical film (10) comprising a light transmissive substrate (11) and an optical film (10) of a functional layer (12) disposed on the light transmissive substrate (11). The functional layer (12) has a concave-convex surface (12A) which is a surface of the optical film (10), and is inclined 10 from the normal direction N of the optical film (10) to the uneven surface (12A) of the functional layer (12). In the state of the parallel light traveling in the direction of °, in the angular distribution of the intensity of the reflected light measured in the plane including the normal direction N and the traveling direction T of the parallel light, the highest reflected light intensity is self-measured. The value of the angular region width of the reflected light intensity of 100 or more minus the reflected light intensity of 1/2 or more of the highest reflected light intensity is 0.7 or more and 1.4 or less. |
