abstract | Disclosed herein is a herbicidal composition comprising a synergistic herbicidally effective amount of (a) penoxsulam or an agronomically acceptable salt thereof and (b) acetochlor or an agronomically acceptable salt thereof . Also disclosed herein is a method of controlling undesired vegetation comprising (a) penoxsulam or an agronomically acceptable salt thereof and (b) acetochlor or an agronomically acceptable salt thereof. Application to vegetation or an area adjacent to the vegetation, or to soil or water to prevent vegetation germination or growth, wherein each of (a) and (b) is added in an amount sufficient to produce a synergistic herbicidal effect. |
