abstract The present invention relates to a shear- and temperature-stable antibody formulation that is more stable than standard formulations (eg, 30 mM citrate, 100 Mm sodium chloride, pH 6.5). The sheared and temperature-stable antibody formulations of the present invention show reduced precipitation when subjected to a stress state, whereas the standard formulations are clustered together. Since the two formulations are very similar in thermodynamics with DSC (differential scanning calorimeter), this result is unexpected.
