abstract | Disclosed herein are formulations suitable for parenteral administration of certain hydrophobic active agents such as Coenzyme Q10. Also provided herein are methods of their preparation and methods of using them to treat tumor disorders. The formulations include an aqueous solution; a hydrophobic active agent dispersed to form particles of a colloidal nano-dispersion; and at least one of a dispersion stabilizer and a conditioning effect reducing agent, wherein the active agent is a colloidal nano-dispersion Disperse into nano-dispersed particles with an average size of less than 200 nm.
