abstract The present invention relates to a linear heater. The linear heater includes a linear support, a heating element and two electrodes. The heating element is located on a surface of the linear support. The two electrodes are separately located and electrically connected to the heating element. The heating element includes at least one carbon nanotube composite structure. The carbon nanotube composite structure includes a matrix and a carbon nanotube structure located in the matrix. The linear heater can be applied to different fields, such as self-heating clothes, infrared therapeutic apparatuses, electrical heaters and so on.
