Application of Polyhydroxyalkanoate Biosynthesis Gene phaT and Its Gene Product of Extremely High Salt Archaea in Bioplastic Production |
abstract |
PHA (Polyhydroxyalkanoate) biosynthetic gene cluster was cloned from genomic DNA of Haloterrigena sp. H13 by Southern blot techniques, including six open reading frames encoding transducer protein (PhaTH13). The phaT gene and protein can be applied as in vivo and in vitro novel PHA synthesis. |
