abstract A turning operation detection mechanism using RFID tags is comprised of a device with turning operation, at least a sensing device and at least an RFID tag. Said RFID tag can access the data at an input port and transmit the data after modulation. Said device with turning operation can generate at least an operation to activate said sensing device. Operation of said sensing device can change the data of the input port. Said data of the input port representing the current status of said turning operation is read and transmitted by said RFID tag as requested by an RFID reader. Said device of turning operation can be door/window hinges/linkage, handles and locks, mechanical water/gas meters, and water faucet, etc.
